Santa Land

My husband has been having to go through driving school for the past few weeks to get his CDL for his job. Yesterday, after a lot of classes, practice driving, and nerves, I’m elated to say that he PASSED! To celebrate, we wanted to do something fun as a family, so we decided to go to a place called Santa Land. It’s a magical little place in Tyler, Texas that boasts having over 2 million lights that you drive on a trail to look at.

It. Was. Awesome.

I felt like a kid again, and it was so much fun to be able to see the excitement on our 3 year old’s face. I wanted to share some pictures and encourage anyone in the East Texas area to consider going. You won’t regret it!

After waiting in a line that was about 2 miles long, we get to finally go through the entrance! It was beautiful!

This part was really neat. You tune your radio to a certain station and the trees flash with the music.

I wish they would’ve had a lit-up Texans helmet, but I guess I need to come to terms with the fact that I am now surrounded by Cowboys fans. Sad.

Poor cow.

Definitely full of Texas pride at this moment, y’all!

This is such a fun experience, and just another reason I love Christmas. You get to feel like a kid again, and who doesn’t like that?

Merry Christmas!
