Homemade Christmas Candy

First off, let me just say wow. I made some homemade chocolate candy this weekend for my family’s Christmas get together down in Houston. We decided to do our Christmas early with my family since my husband and I want to do all of the Santa stuff at our house this Christmas.

Enough about that. Let’s get to the important stuff-the candy. Just kidding. Kind of.

This candy was incredibly easy and everything loved it. It tastes like something you spend a lot of time and effort on. Since I’m nice and it’s
Christmas time, I’ve decided to share the recipe. You’re welcome.

You need:
4 qt. crock pot
34.5 oz. of roasted peanuts(mine were salted)
4 oz. of German’s Sweet Chocolate
24 oz. of semi sweet chocolate chips
3 lbs. if white almond bark

Layer the ingredients in a crock pot in the order written. Cook on low for 3 hours without stirring. After 3 hours, stir together. Use a spoon to scoop out small amounts onto wax paper, and let dry and harden. Then try not to eat every piece of candy! My batch made 84 pieces.
